**As our Compliance Assistant you will**:

- Work within the Compliance team to provide expert advice and guidance to employees across the business in relation to compliance with policies
- Document management - proactively organise folders, files, documents
- Assist with drafting legal documents, policies, procedures and letters
- Assist with maintaining the Risk Registers
- Assisting with the ISO 27001 Information Security Management System, Owner of Jira Task Manager and allocation of required actions
- Monitoring the firm’s Compliance Policies and assisting with updating them
- Managing the supplier process including supplier training, review of supplier forms, supplier registers and annual reviews.
- Assisting with customer contract meetings, negotiations and drafting
- Drafting Non-Disclosure Agreements and Partner Contracts from templates
- Review of terms and conditions
- Assist in Health and Safety obligations including training, DSE assessments and accident reports
- Assist in onboarding of new employees
- Assist in the management of ongoing contracts and renewal procedures
- Provide mandatory training to employees where required and distribution of training courses
- Assisting with certifications such as Cyber Essentials Plus and DPST ToolKit
- Drafting Service Contracts and review of Contractors

**Essentials**:

- Have a high standard of written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving skills.
- Have an ability to work in a self-directive environment to resolve problems and to complete tasks within deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law or equivalent experience
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight or fluid deadlines.
- High levels of attention to detail, confidentiality and professionalism
- Team player
- Previous work experience in an office environment

**Desirables**:

- Some knowledge of Information Security and GDPR
- Legal experience or background
- Knowledge of the care industry either through business or personal experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £23,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
