Production Planner

Allstaff Office Services Division have partnered with our well-established client based near Johnstone, who are looking for a Production Planner.
Our client would consider this role on a temporary or permanent basis.
Duties of this role include:
- Develop and maintain production schedules
- Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components for production.
- Monitor inventory levels and identify potential shortages or excesses, taking proactive measures to resolve issues.
- Coordinate production orders and prioritize tasks to meet delivery deadlines.
- Communicate production schedules and updates to relevant stakeholders, including production teams, management, and sales.
- Oversee production data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards throughout the production process.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to address production challenges, resolve issues, and implement solutions.
This role is straight day shift or back shift Monday - Friday. Our client is keen to speak to those from a manufacturing background and have experience in a previous production coordinator position.
Allstaff is operating as an Employment Agency for the supply of Permanent and Contract staff employed directly by the hirer.
**Salary**: £26,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
