Trailer Freight Imports Clerk

Our client is a well-established international freight forwarder who are now looking for an experienced European Import Road Freight Coordinator to join their growing Bradford branch in the European freight exports division

For over 150 years my client has been handling export and import shipping requirements throughout Europe and Worldwide. Their reputation is based on their caring, customer focused service and competitive pricing

Working within a busy road freight groupage import operation. The successful applicant would be involved with the entire imports process, including liaising with clients, hauliers and agents planning groupage consignments from Europe.

Duties include:
Quoting customers, booking collections with overseas offices and partners
Liasing with Agents, arrange customs clearance into UK including calculation
Handling VAT etc through to final delivery to the client.

Experience required:
Freight forwarding road freight experience
Good telephone manner.
Good computer skills - Additional training will be given in the use of our in-house Systems.
The ability to work in fast paced and pressurised environment
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

**Benefits**:
Salary Circa £26,000 - £30,000
Monday Friday 9am to 5.30 pm /1 hour for lunch.
Pension

Annual Bonus Scheme based on company overall performance.
