We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic individual to join Newcastle Adult Community Mental Health Team (Lyme Brook Centre), on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. The Team operates from its main base on the Bradwell Hospital Site (free parking) which serves an identified catchment area within Newcastle-under-Lyme and the surrounding areas.

If you have previous experience working as a Health Care Support Worker or Carer and are motivated to further develop your knowledge and practice and want to work as part of a large MDT, this role is perfect for you.

The post holder will support the Team to deliver care to our service users (Adults) with moderate to severe mental health difficulties.

Carry out physical health observations (including taking blood samples, blood pressure readings and Electrocardiograms) following a period of shadowing.

Help to deliver a plan of care, under the supervision of a Registered Professional, to promote recovery for our service users.

Support the delivery of group interventions.
