Global Rahmah Foundation is a non-profit organisation dedicated to providing humanitarian aid and support to communities in need around the world. We are currently seeking a passionate and motivated individual to join our team as an Events and Fundraising Assistant. In this role, you will play a vital part in organizing and executing events, as well as supporting fundraising efforts to help us make a positive impact on the lives of those in need.

**Responsibilities**:
**Event Planning and Coordination**:

- Assist in the planning and execution of fundraising events, including galas, charity auctions, and community outreach programs.
- Collaborate with the Events coordinator to develop event concepts, timelines, and budgets.
- Coordinate event logistics, such as venue selection, catering, decor, and audio-visual requirements.
- Support event by outreaching to potential sponsors and attendees.
- Assist in managing event registration, ticket sales, and attendee communications.

**Fundraising Support**:

- Work closely with the Fundraising team to implement fundraising strategies and initiatives.
- Help maintain donor databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
- Assist in researching and identifying potential donors, sponsors, and grant opportunities.
- Support the creation of fundraising materials, including appeal letters, newsletters, and online campaigns.
- Collaborate with team members to organize and execute fundraising campaigns and initiatives.

**Administrative Tasks**:

- Provide general administrative support to the Events and Fundraising departments.
- Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and assist in coordinating team meetings.
- Assist in tracking and reporting on event and fundraising expenses and revenue.
- Maintain inventory of event supplies and promotional materials.
- Handle incoming inquiries related to events and fundraising efforts, providing excellent customer service.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Event Management, Marketing, or Nonprofit Management preferred) or equivalent work experience.
- Previous experience in event planning, fundraising, or a related field is highly desirable.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with donor management software is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Passion for philanthropy, humanitarian work, and making a positive impact in the community.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: £20,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
