Job Overview:
We are seeking seasonal Temporary Sales Assistants to join our Shop team. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our sales team and ensuring the smooth operation of our sales processes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and has strong communication skills.

**Duties**:

- Part of your duties will be to operate a till, processing customer transactions to a high level of accuracy. Giving Outstanding customer service to leave a great lasting impression
- Maintaining high standards around the shop. Assisting in keeping the shop full, clean and tidy.
- Assist the sales team in managing customer enquiries and providing exceptional customer service
- Support the sales team in upselling and cross-selling products or services
- Provide product information and answer customer questions about features, pricing, and availability.
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for additional sales

**Requirements**:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Basic math skills for calculations related to sales transactions
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively with colleagues
- Phone etiquette and professional demeaner when interacting with customers
- Previous experience in a sales or customer service role is preferred but not required

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 5 months

**Salary**: £7.94-£11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 7.50 - 15 per week
