**Job title**:Interim Audio Typist Administrator
**Job type**:9-month fixed-term contract. Full or part-time, minimum 25 hours per week.
**Salary**:Circa £19,000 and £21,000 per annum FTE, depending on experience and location
**Location**:You can be based in the South West or the South East of England. This is a hybrid role with occasional travel across the South East or South West for client and internal team meetings**.**

**About the role**

In this role, you will provide an efficient and high-quality notetaking and transcription service by attending formal meetings or through audio typing, predominantly within our ER service stream. This will involve working with our ER team to record accurate meeting notes or produce audio transcripts for our ER casework which often involves complex and sensitive conversations (disciplinaries, grievances, investigations, bullying and harassment etc.).

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Producing accurate transcripts for the HR Services team through audio and copy-typing of pre-recorded formal HR meetings.
- Attending virtual and face-to-face formal HR meetings as a notetaker to ensure accurate notes are captured.
- Issuing transcripts and meeting notes to internal team members and clients.
- General notetaking for internal meetings, recruitment interviews and focus groups, ensuring accurate notes and actions for team members are recorded and distributed.
- Compose, modify, and proofread meeting notes and transcripts, ensuring all documentation is in the correct brand format and high-quality.
- Format and edit documents and reports to a client ready standard.

**About you**

You will have previous experience notetaking within a professional environment and have proven experience producing accurate and high-quality transcripts using audio and copy typing. In addition to this, you will have the following:
**Essential**
- A minimum typing speed of 80wpm
- Excellent spelling and grammar skills
- Possess excellent phone etiquette
- Excellent written and spoken English, with experience in drafting detailed and accurate transcriptions
- Comfortable using a range of IT, digital and online systems, and tools
- Ability to work to deadlines and understand the importance of doing so
- Ability to work independently on assignments as well as accept directions on given assignments
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word to at least an intermediate level
- Willingness to travel when required

**Desirable**
- A full clean UK driving license
- Experience in note-taking and transcribing employee relations HR interviews/investigations and familiarity with language used within HR meetings is advantageous

**The benefits**

- Salary circa £19,000-£21,000 FTE
