This is a fixed term 12 month role to lead on the management and delivery of projects which are aligned with the Trust’s Gynaecology and Ambulatory transformation plans.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the project to develop a brand new Gynaecology Ambulatory Suite here at Liverpool Womens Hospital as well as lead on a series of Improvement projects directly related to clinical services within the Gynaecology Division. The role will lead on the delivery of the implementation plan for the Ambulatory Suite, working with Capital Estates colleagues and Clinical Leads on the successful delivery of a brand new build and reconfiguration of clinical estate to meet the long term strategic plan for Gynaecology services and Women's Health in Liverpool.

Main duties of the role include;
To project lead and work alongside the Operational Management teams, Capital Estate teams, NHSE and ICB Place stakeholders, reporting to the Divisional Manager for Gynaecology.
To necessitate Trust-wide project delivery, working with various stakeholders to implement and support projects which sit within Clinical Divisions.
To act as a key link to external bodies such NHS England and ICB Liverpool Place, liaising with work stream leads to assist with securing funding for projects, understanding and communicating priorities as set by National planning guidance or local strategic objectives, supporting the evaluation of projects once they have achieved ‘live’ status.
The post holder will be expected to understand the national, regional and local work streams and contexts into which Gynaecology services fit
The post holder will support the Divisional Manager in the successful delivery and implementation of a broad range of clinical and non-clinical projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
Responsible for the delivery of agreed projects, in agreement with the Senior Operational teams and external agencies, and will present project progress and highlight reports to relevant Trust committees as required.
Programme management and day to day running of one or more large scale, complex projects

Service Delivery

Support the Deputy Chief Operating Officer and Divisional Senior Leadership Teams to bring together diverse groups of staff to work on specific projects, engaging them with the project, successfully communicating the benefits to negotiate and agree their time and support.

Demonstrate a good awareness of the national, regional, and local gynaecology agenda(s) and how this relates to the delivery of transformation projects.

Develop relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to work collaboratively on the management and implementation of projects.

Maintain accurate project documents including timelines, plans and risk logs.

Demonstrate a high standard of project management skills and knowledge to ensure that projects have clear and achievable outputs.

Develop and maintain systems and processes to ensure services are patient centred and efficient.

Work with operational managers, frontline clinicians, GP, social care and third sector colleagues to act as a critical friend introducing new ways of working. Sharing expertise, advice, and guidance from a broad range of sources.

Provide updates to internal and external committees/forums on progress of delivery and improvements made to services.

Planning and implementing and reporting on tests of change

Leading evaluation of projects and workstreams to demonstrate outputs/outcomes are in line with key Trust priorities.

Providing assurance to funding bodies, Divisional Management Boards and other relevant meetings.

With the support and in conjunction with the management teams within Divisions, lead on the review and development of services, to ensure maximal patient safety and satisfaction.
