- Be responsible for maintaining compliance with quality assurance requirements through maintaining the cost effectiveness and quality of projects, programmes and deliverables as part of the Solutions Business Unit.
- The post-holder will work alongside Executive teams, Boards, system programme directors, senior clinicians and managers, playing a critical role in the development of transformation strategies and business cases and thereby building improvement capability across Region, Systems and/or Place.

Provide Director of Delivery with regular update on business development opportunities and delivered support which may be replicated at scale/across other regions.

Provide specialised solutions support, programme and project management advice to Programme Boards, Executive directors, senior managers and senior clinicians across region, place and organisation.

Lead the development of policies and procedures on behalf of Programme Boards for a broad programme of transformational change across each setting.

Provide guidance and support in areas of relevant expertise to a range of staff across each setting.

Identify and deliver cost improvements across a range of settings and within MIAA Solutions.

Identify new and best practice improvement tools, systems and data.

Secure regular and objective feedback from clients and other stakeholders.

MIAA is an NHS Shared service, hosted by Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.MIAA is the predominant provider of internal audit services to over 50+ NHS and public sector organisations in the Northwest and beyond. MIAA offer clients a number of services in addition to internal audit including Solutions, Anti-Fraud, Technical Risk Assurance, Capital, Clinical Coding, Healthcare Quality Support Unit.

- Support the Director of Delivery through delivery of the financial recovery and transformation expert advisory portfolio including financial recovery plans and cost improvement plans.
- Work closely with executives, senior management and senior clinicians to develop and agree a coherent set of prioritised objectives that will support delivery of system and organisation programmes.
- Work with senior financial colleagues to identify and deliver functionality to enable improvements in service quality, patient and staff experience, and clinical effectiveness of clinical services.
- Lead the development and production of collaborative business cases at region and place level and develop funding bids to secure financial support from various sources (e.g., ICB, Place Transformation fund ).
- Work with the Director of delivery to develop and agree a coherent set of prioritised objectives for engagement with executives, senior managers and senior clinicians of system and organisational
- Ensure that all assignments, programmes and projects are underpinned by first class solutions support and where appropriate, ‘best in class’ portfolio and programme management arrangements.
- Manage multiple programmes budgets, within agreed timescales and to the expected quality standards.
- Establish clear benefit plans for programmes and projects and lead the delivery of benefits to time and value.
- Where relevant, ensure that patients and carers are at the forefront of service re-design and pathway re-development.
- Ensure that clear and concise updates on programme and project delivery are produced for a Programme Board, highlighting progress via timely and accurate KPI based reports.
- Where relevant, risk manage programme and project delivery, ensuring risks and issues are clearly identified, managed and escalated in accordance with programme governance, and resolved in a timely manner.
- Manage and support staff to ensure that relevant programmes and projects deliver the required quality, and financial benefits.
- Work closely to ensure that the integrity of data is maintained and clarity of risks across the area are understood and managed throughout the transformation process.
- Contribute to the on-going development of MIAA Solutions Business Plans and Financial strategy, to grow the MIAA Solutions “offer”.
