Search Hire Hurrah are the permanent recruitment division of multi award winning Nineteen Recruitment, and we are on the lookout for a detail oriented Supporter Care Administrator for a truly wonderful charity client of ours, based in the Camden area of London.

This is a full time and permanent role offering hybrid working with 3 days in the office and 2 days at home, and commands a salary of between £21,000-£25,000 per annum.

Our client is a leading national children’s charity dedicated to the fight against childhood cancer, and it's aims are to determine the causes, find cures, improve treatments and provide care for children with cancer.

To support the awesome team already working there, we are looking for an individual who pays excellent attention to detail, with strong IT skills and an ability to work quickly and accurately and someone who possesses a professional, confident and friendly telephone manner to work with a wide range of people and suppliers.

About the Role:
Key priorities and relationships:

- To log and update supporter details onto the database accurately and quickly.
- To take donations over the phone.
- To batch donations received to the charity via cheque, bank transfer, voucher, cash and via online platforms onto the database accurately and quickly.
- To write thank you letters, and other correspondence as required.
- To effectively cross sell fundraising during contact with supporter as agreed in the supporter journey (as appropriate)
- When required, sort incoming post and distribute to the relevant teams and people in the office in a timely fashion.

Duties and Key relationships:

- To answer telephone queries relating to other departments as necessary.
- To volunteer at our charity events when required e.g. London marathon, special events, etc.
- To assist the team and manager in any other duties as required.
- To deal with queries from supporters affected by cancer and to refer them to other external sources if necessary.
