Blue Arrow are currently recruiting for temporary Café and front of house staff in various locations in East Sussex and Kent If you have café, Front of house or catering assistant experience then we want to hear from you
- We are looking for well presented, friendly and polite staff with experience in hospitality, catering or customer service.
- Driving license and own transport is desirable but not always essential
- Shifts and events are often held at weekends, (ideal if you are looking to top up your salary or are only available to work part time hours)
- Being available at short notice is often an advantage.

- Weekly pay
- Competitive rates of pay: £11.44-£18.00 per hour
- Flexible part-time work patterns
- 28 days holiday per year

You will need:

- Excellent customer service skills; confident interacting with customers and dealing with customer complaints/queries/questions
- Attentiveness and patience for customers
- Strong organisational and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive approach to tasks and duties
- Experience using point of sale systems and cash handling
- A positive, can-do attitude

Main Duties/Responsibilities will include:

- Clean tables and maintain a tidy working area
- Serving food and drinks
- Up-sell additional products when appropriate and promote any seasonal items/offerings
- Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and report any problems
- Follow all health and safety rules, explained by manager

Essential Qualifications/Licences/Certifications
- Previous experience of working in a busy environment.
- Competent level of English spoken and written
- Hands-on experience with cash register and ordering information system(s)

Desirable Qualifications/Licences/Certifications
- DBS standard/enhanced
- Food safety training
- First aid training
