This is a Part-time role (2 days a week)

Stunning location and office premises looking for a Part-time Finance and Administration assistant for 2 days a week. Supporting the Finance Manager with business accounting activities and day to day administrative tasks. Experience using SAGE50 is essential,Some of the key duties are as follows:

- Managing the Purchase Ledger. Ensuring all supplier invoices are authorized, coded correctly, VAT recorded correctly, posted, filed and paid in a timely manner**;**:

- Staff and Volunteer expenses. Ensuring that claims are authorized, receipts are received, coded correctly, VAT recorded correctly, posted, filed and paid in a timely manner;
- Liaising with Programme Managers to maintain timely authorisation of invoices and expenses;
- Apportioning costs correctly across programmes;
- Preparation of twice monthly BACS payment runs for authorization by the Finance Manager;
- Monitoring Aged Creditors;
- Maintaining staff mileage records;
- Raising one-off and recurring Sales Invoices;
- Credit Control. Monitoring Aged Debtors, ensuring outstanding invoices are chased promptly, reminders sent and queries effectively resolved;
- Recognising the difference between Grant and Contract payments and the VAT implications of each;
- Daily Bank postings;
- Processing Bank Payments;
