My client, a well-known business based in Haddenham are currently recruiting for a permanent Credit Manager.

**Job Duties**
- Translate Global Credit Policy to EU Credit Policy and align the department strategy
- Ensure the Credit Department operates in compliance with policies and procedures
- Achieve PACCAR’s Credit goals of minimization of credit losses and past dues
- Accountable for order board credit quality, credit losses and past dues
- Ensure local processes align with PACCAR compliance policies related to customer due diligence and meet PACCAR’s Standards of Conduct
- Management of risk mix of new business as appropriate to achieve Credit’s goals for risk mix distribution
- Recommend or approve credit proposals within delegated authority
- Recommend or approve extended payment terms
- Approve trucks for production prior to fixed scheduling
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve non-approved trucks for production
- Restructure distressed accounts
- Establishment of collateral and security
- Recommend receivables for write-off and pursue bad debt collection
- Recommend and approve dealer appointments / terminations and perform due diligence for new customers
- Manage timely collection of quarterly dealer financial statements
- Manage dealer-watch process to identify high risk accounts and enforce effective dealer watch action plans
- Ensure accurate and timely Credit reporting
- Operate as an internal point of contact for alleged violations of Compliance regulations and collaborate with other departments to address Compliance issues
- Establish internal controls aiming at mitigation of risk in line with SOX & ICAP programs in place
- Degree educated
- Multiple years relevant experience in Credit, Finance and/or Control.
- Qualified MCICM (Grad) preferred
- CIMA / ACCA also considered
- Multiple years of experience undertaking risk-based decision making
- Knowledge of multiple financial reporting standards, including IFRS
- Six Sigma experience or qualification an advantage
- Strong Excel skills an advantage
