**About Us**

Trident Group has over 50 years of delivering homes, services and innovation for up to 8,000 people in over 3,400 homes in some of the most disadvantaged communities in the Midlands. It employs more than 750 staff, works with over 150 volunteers and provides training places and apprenticeships for many more. The Group has an annual turnover of more than £32m and owns assets close to £170m.

The Group includes Trident Housing, which provides landlord services for the Group in respect of housing management and maintenance; Trident Reach, a registered care and support charity providing services (homeless, mental health, young people, older people, BME groups and domestic violence) to people in the Midlands.

**This role provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to the continued development of the street community in Birmingham**

**About You**

You will have an understanding of the issues faced by people who experience homelessness and a non-judgmental attitude.

We are looking for passionate people and friendly faces to join a team of highly skilled colleagues.

No two days are the same and we are looking for a range of skills, expertise and people who believe in being open, compassionate, and bold.

**The Role**

Working within our 101-bed emergency provision hostel Washington Court located in the city centre of Birmingham. We have various shifts available as we operate 24/7 with no two days being the same.

We have various hours/shift patterns available, whether you want to do just a couple of hours a week, or have capacity to do something more regular, then we could work something out that suits you.

As a Befriending and Activity Volunteer, you will support with groups/activities based on residents needs and interests; engage with residents in communal areas to foster supportive, reliable relationships; and have a craft or skill that you can partake in with the residents or just a passion to give back, then this opportunity is for you
