**My Learning Campus Design Specialist**

In order to set our company up for further growth, we need a My Learning Campus Design Specialist to join our fantastic Learning & Development Team As a My Learning Campus Design Specialist, you will work closely with the Employee Experience and the Solution Development Team to design and deliver effective, engaging, compelling development solutions, using best in class behavioural and soft skills learning methods and frameworks. You’ll also ensure all learning solutions have the learner at the heart of the design, build and implementation.
**The Role**:
- Be the lead designer on major and cross business unit design projects, ensuring the design meets the needs of each of the business strategy and goals
- Programme lead design projects end to end, which involves concept, definition, implementation, handover and closeout
- Be responsible for the overall management of learning solution design
- Understand the strategic direction of each business unit ensuring cross functional alignment to the wider Centrica strategy
- Produce well planned storyboards, encapsulating all areas, which could include video scripts and digital instructional copy
- Develop, evaluate and challenge learning aims and objectives. Work with colleagues and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to design solutions that align with these
- Demonstrate solid experience in using ‘Action Mapping’ methodology in scoping
- Work with the Employee Experience team, colleagues and client stakeholders/SMEs to ensure suitable evaluation metrics are defined at design stage
- Use feedback and post course evaluations to recommend changes to enhance training collateral and materials
- Have an expert knowledge of learning trends and develop innovative ideas
- Use a commercial lens to make informed decisions and recommendations on the best learning methodology that meets capability gaps whilst being delivered in the most cost-effective way
- Embrace a culture of continuous improvement of design output, focusing clearly on metrics relating to Time to Market (TTM), Time to Competency (TTC) and Quality Assurance (QA)
**The Person**:
- Excellent training design skills including the ability to create innovative solutions
- Comfortable working to tight deadlines in a fast paced ever changing business
- Solid Training project and programme management skills including managing virtual projects
- Excellent organisation skills with strong, proven focus on delivering results / outcomes
- Experience of working as part of a team and the ability to work largely self-managed
- Evidence and passion for continued professional development within the Behavioural learning segment
- Customer focused - always ensuring that learning content is focused on doing what’s right for our learners and ultimately the Centrica customer
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Strong written and visual design skills
- Ability to translate defined learning requirements into credible, impactful and effective learning content
- Ability to influence the continuous improvement of the design team through Time to Market and Time to Competency measures
