**Job Description**:
**Job purpose**: To provide reception and telephone services for Forum Energy Technologies.

**Key Responsibilities: (Key Tasks)**
- Create a professional impression of Forum Energy Technologies through courteous, friendly and efficient routing of telephone calls and professional interaction with visitors.
- Carry out clerical and word processing requirements of a non-confidential matter.
- To provide absence reports.
- To chase outstanding sickness forms.
- To provide the following reports in a timely manner; movements lists, weekend manager on call and weekend working rotas.
- To administer the allocations of the conference and meeting rooms.
- To cover the other receptionist absents and leave.
- Carry out any other tasks that are within capabilities as directed by the HR department

**Accountabilities: (Deliverables)**
- Provide monthly absence reports.
- Complete and submit the Forum Record of Attendance spread sheet on a weekly basis.
- To administrator the allocations of the conference and meeting rooms.
- Manage the calendar.
- Chase outstanding forms required for sickness.

**Education/Qualifications (essential)**:

- Educated to GSCE level

**Technical Competencies (essential)**:

- Ability to plan, prioritise and organise work and resources appropriate to requirements
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to work, continuously striving for improvements
- Excellent IT skills: MS word, Excel

**Key Skills (essential)**:

- Prior telephone switchboard experience
- Ability to promote a professional manner and appearance, efficient and courteous
- Excellent communication skills, learning ability and proactive personality
- Able to work under pressure
- Team player
- Be flexible for additional coverage
- Must be very organised, dependable and flexible
