**Location**: Hybrid - time will be spent primarily at our Head Office, services and cafe, with time at home when appropriate

**Reporting** **to**: Head of Fundraising and Marketing

Four Square is an Edinburgh charity that provides services directly to people who are homeless, or who are at risk of homelessness, to overcome the barriers they face in creating a stable life for themselves in their community.

Alongside our services we have two social enterprises, a re-use furniture store and a café, that provide independent income for our charity as well as volunteering and training opportunities for those who use our services.

**The Role**

This is an important and exciting time to add your talents to the Fundraising and Marketing team to help increase awareness of the important and unique work Four Square carries out. Four Square has modernised and developed beyond recognition in the past four years. We have solid foundations in place and we are now in a position to grow the level of impact we have.

The Marketing & Events Officer will work with the Head of Fundraising and Marketing and key stakeholders across the charity to organise and deliver all internal and external events, alongside marketing responsibilities specifically focusing on social channels and collateral development.

We’re looking for a talented and proactive marketing professional to help us deliver our marketing plan and customer facing events. This is a new role within the organisation and needs someone who is confident in advising on the best use of brand, marketing and communications.

The Marketing & Events Officer is required to produce fast and accurate work, undertaken with a keen eye for detail, and work on multiple projects simultaneously.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Deliver social media and collateral elements of the marketing plan to help to raise awareness of the charity’s activities embedding the charity brand across all our platforms and activities
- Planning and overseeing all event related activities to ensure all events run smoothly and successfully
- Coordinate event logistics, including contracts, event schedules, administration, project management, and attendee co-ordination for the events
- Support the service delivery and fundraising teams providing expertise on the charity brand and expertise on a wide range of marketing tactics, including digital marketing, events and collateral development
- Manage the charity’s social media channels including content creation, ensuring effective user experience and functionality and use the appropriate analytics resources for to report on performance and areas for growth
- Keep up to date on current industry-related trends and legislative changes, sharing best practice with colleagues, attending and participating in training as required

- To support the Head of Fundraising and Marketing with any relevant activities as required

**Terms & Conditions**
- £26,574 per annum pro rata
- Full-time, 35 hours per week but open to part-time, job-share and other types of flexibility
- 35 days holiday rising to 40 on completion of 5 years' service (pro rata)
