**Aldersyde Day nursery are seeking an enthusiastic and caring Early Years Educator Apprentice, to join their nursery team, whilst receiving training and learning to achieve your Level 3 qualification**

Aldersyde Nursery have been operating in Hartlepool since 1991 we are looking to seek an enthusiastic, friendly, passionate early year’s apprentice for our busy and friendly nursery.

At Aldersyde we understand the importance of learning through play, through our EYFS curriculum that is suited to individual children’s needs and interests Our enthusiastic team are passionate about providing a fun and engaging environment in which children will thrive.

A Nursery Practitioner is to create and maintain safe, and welcoming learning environments for the children. They are responsible for understanding, supporting, and working with children to provide fantastic learning opportunities.

**Apprenticeship Details: Working towards the Early Years Educator Level 3 Qualification, across an expected duration of 16 months.**

**Training Provider**:LMP Education (Rated 3rd Best training provider across the UK)

**Salary**: £5.28 per hour, rising to national minimum wage for your age after 12 months.

Holiday: 20+8 days

Mon-Fri Full Time (Hours tbc at interview).

Potential job offer at the end of training with further opportunities to develop.

**We are looking for**:

- An Apprentice to work across a day nursery environment working with children from 0-5 years
- Be approachable with excellent interpersonal & communicational skills.
- Good time management.
- Ability to remain calm, positive, and enthusiastic when working under pressure.
- Passionate about children’s learning and education.
- Work in partnership with our SEN co-ordinator, parents & professionals

**Key Skills and Attributes**:

- To work towards a level 3 early years qualification
- To be able to complete a portfolio of work in an agreed timescale by a workplace assessor.
- To attend work based training such as staff meetings
- GCSE Maths and English Grade C/4 or above, or Functional Skills Level 2.
