I am currently working with a **National Law Firm** who is offering an opportunity for an **Associate/Senior Associate** to join their **Probate Team**.

You'll be advising a diverse clientele on probate matters and estate administration, covering various aspects of finalizing an individual's estate, including:

- Applications for grants of representation
- Inheritance tax calculations
- Post-death variations advice
- Asset distribution and establishment or restructuring of trusts under a will

Additionally, you'll have the chance to collaborate with senior team members on broader issues such as:

- Estate and succession planning
- Inheritance tax and capital gains tax
- Complex Will drafting
- Trust establishment
- Trustee powers and duties

What skills and qualities are required?

Essential:

- Previous experience in a similar role
- **Minimum 2 years PQE+ **with experience gained at a large regional or City firm advising high net worth individuals
- Experience managing your own caseload, including financial oversight. Ideally, you should have completed or be working towards completing the STEP Diploma
- Ability to cultivate strong relationships with clients, potential clients, and referral sources
- Solid experience in preparing accounts for probates and trusts

- STEP qualification
