**Knowledge and Experience**:

- Be passionate about wanting to make a difference to the lives of the 2 children living at our home.
- Have a calm, nurturing and non-judgemental nature and be able to see beyond some of the challenging behaviours our young people may display, which will help to understand the root causes of these behaviours.
- Have the desire to safeguard, motivate and inspire the young people that you will be supporting.
- Hold a full UK driving licence.
- Hold a minimum of an NVQ L3 or a QCF L3 in looking after children and young people in a residential childcare setting.
- Be able to work shifts during the day, weekends, evening, and sleeping-in duties.

**Our commitment to you will be**:

- A competitive hourly rate of £12 per hour plus a £60 sleeping-in rate.
- A full mandatory and statutory training package.
- Development opportunities.
- A dedicated and committed manager with over 17 years’ experience in the sector who will be available to support and guide you in your role 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
