**High5 Recruitment are actively** **recruiting** for additional Qualified, Senior Residential Support Workers to work in our 3-bed EBD Home in DERBY.

**Working in Children's Residential Care **has to be one of the most rewarding jobs. Yes, it has plenty of challenges, but the joys of seeing how young people grow and develop after having gone through so much trauma in early childhood is an amazing experience for you as support workers.

**Knowing you never gave up on any single young person, **no matter how tough and trying they or their situation were.

**You have kept young people safe**, you have got them into routines and given them a glimmer of hope.

**You have set boundaries, nurtured them and restored their trust, **you have seen their self-esteem and self-confidence grow and seen how they have thrived after such traumatic starts in life.

**You and a whole array of Healthcare Professionals** have shown kindness, affection and have broken down barriers after young people have experienced patterns of abuse,

**You have helped **to provide a calm and stable routine and not only have you given them hope, but also the emotional strength.

**The Senior roles** are for those who have/are currently in a senior position within a Children's Residential Home and have some experience of leading a small team on shift.

We are offering a generous **starting salary at £31,820**

**The qualities **we require are important, and will be assessed as we go through the recruitment process.

We are particularly looking for warmth, energy, passion, motivation, ambition and trust and loyalty are crucial. Applicants should also exhibit patience, support and understanding.

For this role, **applicants must be qualified** with their Level 3 or above in Residential Childcare or equivalent.

**Therapeutic Focus**:We believe that all children and young people should be supported through therapeutic practices in every way possible. Our staff are provided with intensive therapeutic training.
