An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as the Centre Co-ordinator of Haven Banks
Outdoor Education Centre at Exeter College.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team and be part of one of the South
West’s premiere outdoor activity Centre’s.

The Centre offers an innovative approach to education, training and recreation with
provision that will encompass the individual needs of a wide range of users, including those
disengaged from education, those looking for a short term recreational activity, students
wanting to train for a future career in the industry through to professionals undertaking
training in leadership and development.

An excellent customer focused front of house approach is required at all times and you will
have a pivotal role in the smooth running of the Centre.

We are looking for someone who is highly organised with excellent communication skills,
able to multi-task, produce work to an accurate, high standard and have a flexible, confident
approach to working within a busy environment.

You will have the ability to work on your own initiative to take responsibility for the efficient
running of the reception area of the Centre and all related Centre bookings, communication,
finance and administration.

You will need to be confident in using a range of IT packages including MS Word, Excel,
Access and Outlook. You will receive training on the use of various college systems for
finance, activity and room bookings, and ecommerce so the ability to learn and adapt to
new packages is essential.
