**About the role**

**Hours**: Zero hours to include bank holidays and weekends as and when needed.

Our Retail outlets provide 29% of much-needed income to the hospice. This is vital to be able to provide care to the people of Derbyshire. The hospice has 15 retail shops,1 furniture warehouse a Donation centre, 2 Clearance shops and 3 Coffee shops We also have an online eBay/Amazon platform and an online furniture store, It’s a big operation We are looking for a Bank Retail Sales Assistant to cover the Bakewell and Buxton areas.

This job role is hard work, enormous fun, hugely satisfying and very fascinating. This is a job that doesn’t have that Monday morning feeling and you will go home feeling happy that you did a great job for an amazing charity those who work for Ashgate Hospice are very proud to do so. - Generate income through the sale of donated and new stock
- Ensure the highest standards of customer care are always adhered to

**About you**:
You will be an integral member of the Shop teams, greeting and serving customers, creating a positive customer experience.

Skills and experience required:

- Previous experience within a customer service focussed sector
- Can demonstrate excellent visual merchandising skills
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Knowledge of cash handling/Banking protocol
