CAD or Revit Technician
**Your new company**
Your new company is a small, family-owned consultancy based in the heart of Lancashire. With 6 technical staff in the office, your new company completes the detailed design predominantly in the industrial and commercial sectors for food manufacturers e.g. Kellogg's,McVitie's, Greggs and Lucozade.
Your new company also engage in regular different but exciting projects with recent examples including the design of Snowdonia Surfing Lake, a safari in Spain and a local dairy.
Repeat business clients and referrals spreading by word of mouth across the industry due to excellent reviews have created a consistent flow of work in these sectors.
There is a fresh and dynamic atmosphere in the design office, with Chorley town centre just down the road creating the opportunity for a game of squash or a gym session at lunch time.
**Your new role**
Your new role will see you working as a Structural Technician alongside a team of other engineers and technicians. You will be expected to provide hands on structural design support for a variety of exciting projects in the commercial and industrial sectors.Completing technical drawings using AutoCAD or Revit is the most important aspect of the role.
**What you'll need to succeed**
In order to succeed you will need at least 2 years' industry experience at a design consultancy. You must be fluent with AutoCAD and ideally Revit, though this is not essential to succeed. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are also necessary.These will allow you to seamlessly embed yourself into the dynamic team and help maintain strong relationships with clients.
**What you'll get in return**
In return you will receive a competitive salary in line with your previous experience in the range of £30,000 - £40,000. Exposure to new software's, engineering techniques and civil design work will improve your technical knowledge and improve your ability.A 4% company pension contribution and 25 annual days holiday are all included in the package.
