**The Role**:
We are currently looking for an experienced Full-Time Event Planner to join our Events Team as Wedding & Event Planner. The role is responsible of being the key communicator with the Operations Team, Kitchen and other relevant departments within the hotel to ensure successful execution of an event. Liaising with all clients, ensuring their requirements are met, all details are co-ordinated and communicated correctly by the Planners across departments to ensure smooth and seamless experience for all our customers.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensuring you as a Planner are on top of your Events and information is correct for operational teams.
- Attending Functions meetings with operational teams’ weekly bases.
- To discuss the event with clients in planning meetings, ascertaining and noting their requirements in detail.
- To discuss and advise clients on menu’s, beverage options and further in house services. Ensuring in house costings are maintained at their agreed levels.
- Upselling additional services and products throughout the planning stages.
- Providing accurate event documents for the Client and internal departments with high attention to detail, including room & table plans.
- Excellent communication with ALL departments.
- Adhering at all times to department processes and timelines.
- To provide the highest level of guest service to ensure customer satisfaction on all occasions.
- To ensure a prompt, courteous response and follow up to all enquiries.
- To check function rooms, cloakrooms, bridal suites etc. For cleanliness, correct set-up, table layout and stipulated specific requirements to enable shortcomings to be rectified.
- To greet the host and guests, circulating the event to ensure correct running from operations and assist hosts where required.
- To ensure the Operations department are fulfilling all of the requirements detailed on the function sheet and that a courteous & professional service is being delivered.

**Key Skills**:

- Previous experience from similar role.
- Excellent telephone manner and overall communication skills
- Strong multi-tasking ability
- An ability to communicate with and understand the needs of clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Exceptional time management and ability to prioritise workload.
- Sales experience and upselling skills.
- An ability to use your initiative when faced with customer worries & concerns and create a workable solution.
- A positive, friendly ‘Can Do’ attitude.
- To be able to remain calm under pressure.
- An eye for detail.
- Impeccable grooming skills. Adhere to the Company Uniform policy.
- Good Industry knowledge.

**Salary**: £21,900.00-£22,500.00 per year
