**Job Title**:Patient Movement Porter
**Location**:Pinderfields Hospital, Aberford Road, WF1 4DG
**Shift Pattern**:Full Time 37.5hrs/week (Monday-Friday 18:00 - 02:00), Part Time 15hrs/week (Saturday & Sunday 14:00 - 22:00) & 15hrs/week (Saturday & Sunday 18:00 - 02:00)
**Pay**:£11.45 per hour

**What you’ll be responsible for**:
**The Porter will be providing the following support to the Estates & Facilities team.**
- Provide a portering service to all wards & departments. To convey patients by wheelchair, bed or trolley
- Distribute food trolleys and boxes - and food items
- Report any suspicious incidents and assist where necessary
- When required, assist with car parking duties
- Comply with the health and safety procedures when moving patients/equipment’s around the site.
- Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received.
**The skills required are**:
- Must be friendly and approachable
- Physically fit
- Presentable
- A good understanding of spoken and written English.
- Trained in Manual Handling (preferred)
- This role may require you to show evidence of vocational level 3 qualification or at least 2 years relevant experience._
