**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Interacting with guests, sharing product knowledge on drinks and food.
- Taking orders, checking back, and assisting with queries.
- Liaising with the kitchen team to fully understand the menu.
- Clearing down and setting tables.
- Working behind the bar, serving drinks and taking orders for food.
- Working as part of the events team to deliver the catering element.
- Resolving guest queries/complaints at the first point of contact.
- Following the opening and closing duties of the operation.
- Upholding all policies and standards of food hygiene.
- Completion of daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
- Assisting with some kitchen duties when necessary - sandwich prep for example.

**Skills**:

- Self-motivated/ Industrious
- Basic knowledge of IT & POS systems and able to use standard software.
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven experience of the hospitality industry is desirable.

As co-owners in the business, you’ll see this difference in the way your teammates and you approach your job and carry out your responsibilities. With all of the island to explore or using any of the facilities on offer; a croquet lawn, children's play area, badminton, football, cricket, fishing, archery and frisbee golf you can guarantee that our guests will be hungry and looking to recharge with the fantastic food offering we give them.

**Boats**: We have our own private boat service from Sandbanks Pier to get Partners to and from work, these boats run approximately once an hour between 7am - 11pm. Castello Boat berths at the jetty to the right of the Chain Ferry.

**Car parking**:If you wish to park at Sandbanks (BH13 7QJ). This is on-road parking only, payable via the 'Just Park' app or at the meter on the roadside, prices vary. As staff on the island we have access to purchase an annual permit at a reduced price. Parking is free from November to March.

**Buses**:Buses stop at 7pm from sandbanks and all staff are required to cover late night shifts beyond the bus times.
