**Oxford Crematorium opened in May 1939 and is set in 22 acres of well-maintained grounds on the outskirts of the city. We are here to help you with whatever you would like for the funeral service. Oxford Crematorium are looking for a professional and compassionate individual to join our collaborative and dedicated team as an Administrator. In addition, the administrator will provide cover as a chapel attendant, as and when required. (full chapel attendant training will be provided)

**What Will I Be Doing as an Administrator?**

As an Administrator, you will be responsible for liaising directly with Funeral Directors, Clients and other stakeholders ensuring any specific requests from the family regarding the chapel set-up are carried out.

Other duties will include:

- Inputting the cremation and burial paperwork onto our bespoke online/computer system to comply with Industry regulations.
- Update the memorial ledgers and archives.
- Preparation of all documentation to facilitate the daily operation of the crematorium.
- Maintain accurate records to comply with industry regulations
- Liaise with Funeral Directors, Ministers and families/clients ensuring that any specific requests are inputted in the database regarding services that are carried out.
- Provide emergency cover, as a chapel attendant, in their absence.
- Laying to rest (Scatter all interments).
- Preparation of banking, client invoices, collate petty cash returns and supporting with credit control duties.
- Maintaining accurate, indexed records of funeral arrangements.
- Maintaining confidentiality when processing legal burial and cremation documents.
- Ensure that stationery stocks are kept at a reasonable level, without shortage or overspend.
- Ensure that the company’s policy on cash handling is adhered to.
- Carry out any other duties when reasonably requested to do so by your Line Manager.

**What Do I Need?**
- Previous experience within a Customer Service and Administrative position. (essential)
- Proactive approach and ability to communicate effectively with a range of people
- Presentable at all times, acting with professional conduct and showing empathy.
- Excellent attention to detail is essential.
- Supply the necessary documentation for a full DBS check

**Advantageous**:

- Previous experience in the industry, though this is not required, as full training will be provided.
