Position Summary
The Display team is within the CE division and focuses on 4 key product categories - LED, LCD Monitor, Smart Signage LFD and Hospitality TV. A clear market leader in LFD, HTV and LED the business is focussed on maintaining such a position within these categories and re-establishing a #1 position in LCD Monitor.
Role and Responsibilities
Your Key Responsibilities:
The delivery of continued profitable growth - re-establishing the #1 position for Monitor, growing market share in LFD and improving revenue opportunities within LED for The Wall. Go above and beyond in delivering Budget/Management Plan sales targets. Lead SEUK to the clear No1 position in Samsung Europe by revenue value with a 3-year plan to drive sales beyond $300m.
Lead the Sales and Distribution Team. Directly managed team members including Head of BDM, Channel Sales Leader and Internal Sales Leader.
Working closely with the Head of Display, play a hands-on role in setting and maintaining overall Display Business Strategy.
Set customer level targets with a focus on revenue, product/category mix and profitability.
Maintain and grow relationships within the named accounts at all levels.
Own weekly Sales & Marketing Meetings by key customer for better integration and execution of Sales/Product/Channel Marketing activities.
Provide quality market and competitor information with a very clear ‘pulse’ for customer insights.
What we need for this role
To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:
- Consistent track record of leading a hard-working sales team and ability to grow all channels through a strategic plan, without cannibalisation- Experience of growing range and distribution, whilst increasing revenues and share of wallet within key Distributors- Expert sales person with achievement history within a IT/Distribution/Channel sales environment- Good solid understanding of key partners within the IT/AV/Broadline Channel or related industry including both and their associated promotional and trading practices- Dynamic, flexible and passionate- Internal and external partner management & influence- Planning & strategy development - including implementation of key customer Joint Business Plans- A creative, problem solving attitude to resolving issues and meeting targets

What does success look like?
Reporting into the Head of Display, Samsung Electronics UK & Ire, develop a sales strategy for accelerated growth - with the aim of re-establishing and maintaining the No.1 Display brand in the UK. Develop and be responsible for the optimal Distribution and Channel Strategy for balanced profitable growth across the B2C and B2B space. Lead with a clear vision, ambition and commitment to deliver against business performance objectives. Foster outstanding senior level relationships with key channel partners. Establish and implement robust Joint Business Planning processes to build true partnership and engagement in order to accelerate the execution of the Display growth strategy. The role will incorporate the ownership of the Distribution channel and actively being responsible for the Tier 1 performance aligned to Management Plan. Actively support the integration of Sales, Product, Marketing and Commercial Operations to use all our capabilities and increase our chances of success.
