Position Overview: As the Mechanical Team Lead, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating all mechanical activities during the shutdown project. You will be responsible for leading a team of skilled mechanical technicians and ensuring that all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and within the specified timeframe.

Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of mechanical technicians.
Allocate tasks and responsibilities to team members based on their skills and expertise.
Conduct regular team meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Project Planning:
Collaborate with the project manager to develop a detailed mechanical work plan.
Create schedules and timelines for mechanical activities, ensuring alignment with overall project goals.
Identify resource requirements and coordinate with the procurement team for necessary materials and equipment.
Execution and Quality Control:
Supervise and monitor the execution of mechanical tasks during the shutdown.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure work is carried out to the highest quality standards.
Implement and enforce safety protocols to minimize risks and maintain a safe working environment.
Problem Solving:
Address and resolve any mechanical issues or challenges that may arise during the shutdown.
Collaborate with the engineering team to find innovative solutions and ensure project continuity.

NVQ in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Proven experience as a Mechanical Team Lead or similar role in industrial projects, with a focus on shutdowns or turnarounds.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and processes.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions under pressure.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations and procedures
