**Position Overview**:As the Mechanical Team Lead, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating all mechanical activities during the shutdown project. You will be responsible for leading a team of skilled mechanical technicians and ensuring that all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and within the specified timeframe.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Team Leadership**:

- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of mechanical technicians.
- Allocate tasks and responsibilities to team members based on their skills and expertise.
- Conduct regular team meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

**Project Planning**:

- Collaborate with the project manager to develop a detailed mechanical work plan.
- Create schedules and timelines for mechanical activities, ensuring alignment with overall project goals.
- Identify resource requirements and coordinate with the procurement team for necessary materials and equipment.

**Execution and Quality Control**:

- Supervise and monitor the execution of mechanical tasks during the shutdown.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure work is carried out to the highest quality standards.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to minimize risks and maintain a safe working environment.

**Problem Solving**:

- Address and resolve any mechanical issues or challenges that may arise during the shutdown.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to find innovative solutions and ensure project continuity.

**Qualifications**:

- NVQ in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Team Lead or similar role in industrial projects, with a focus on shutdowns or turnarounds.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and processes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations and procedures
- CCSNG Safety Passport
