We are seeking an exceptional Business Operations Lead to oversee the operations of production and logistics installations at Prax Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring safety, availability, energy performance, and compliance with product quality standards.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have experience in leading operations, conducting performance reviews, and managing controllable OPEX. You will also be expected to promote a positive HSEQI culture, ensure effective communication within the team and with other departments, and participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safety and Compliance: Promote and maintain a positive HSEQI culture, ensuring compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
  • Operations Management: Lead the operations of production and logistics installations, ensuring safety, availability, energy performance, and compliance with product quality standards.
  • Performance Optimisation: Conduct performance reviews, identify process improvements, and ensure effective communication and follow-up on remedial actions.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage controllable OPEX, monitor variances, and implement improvement actions to optimize costs.
  • Team Leadership: Conduct appraisals, manage succession planning, and ensure effective communication within the team and with other departments.
  • Interface Management: Ensure alignment and effective communication between the business team and other departments, addressing and resolving interface issues.
  • Project Management: Lead the identification and execution of projects, including modifications, maintenance shutdowns, and turnarounds.
  • Incident Management: Lead and participate in incident investigations, root cause analysis, and the implementation of corrective actions.

This is a challenging role that requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for improving operational efficiency. In return, we offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
