My client is a truly unique firm unlike any other I have worked with. They are an integral part of the financial services market infrastructure and have been classified as systemic.

More than just a good company, the Head of Compliance and compliance team as a whole are amazing people and you will be surrounded by supportive and knowledgeable compliance officers.

You must be working in banking compliance and have an awareness of Financial Services Conduct Risk and the compliance risk framework. You may have an understanding of risk and controls assessments or have done regulatory audit work in the past. You may have been involved with regulatory change initiatives and demonstrate how you have implemented regulatory reforms.

You must be able to demonstrate compliance advisory experience in some facet of your banking compliance

You will play an integral role in constructing and maintaining the risk and controls framework (KRI’s) making sure processes systems and controls comply with all relevant UK FCA regulations.

There is an interesting technology angle to this role which you don’t need experience in but is a skillset when learned will make you a better compliance officer.

This role offers extreme flexibility and you will be expected in the office once a week. You are of course more than welcome to come in more often.

Salary on offer is £65,000 - £75,000
