**Main Purpose of the Job**:
Responsible for the material supply chain element of new product introduction. Supporting the engineering function with the planning and execution of new product development and launch. Enabling planning and supply chain alignment to the latest engineering configuration for production and customer material requirements. Ensuring that inventory working capital impact is minimised through effective material phasing and burn off and in line with corporate objectives for cost and delivery performance.

**Main Missions and Results**:

- _Plans, organizes and conducts activities within its area in an effective manner towards achieving common objectives of IAC (name of plant) as well as the IAC Group._
- _Reports deviations from the standard and takes corrective actions._
- _Take action to achieve KPIs._
- _Work closely with procurement and scheduling team members to ensure all material sourcing is in line with procurement strategy and scheduled deliveries are in line with program or product launch milestones._
- _Liaise with engineering team to identify product change or NPI programme planning deliverables and schedule material demand and production plans accordingly._
- _In terms of material or product revisions ensure that there is an agreed point of embodiment for the changes and work with the relevant stakeholders to assess inventory impact, inventory burn off or inventory excess and obsolescence mitigation plans._
- _Ensure all planning parameters, BoMs and part master data is maintained to the correct revision or configuration._
- _Generate and issue schedules for pre-production and prototype builds._
- _Liaise with procurement to ensure supply of material samples and tooling are sourced in line with pre-production requirements_
- _Work closely with material and production planners to ensure a smooth hand over and transition from project launch to steady state._
- _Carry out material availability checks and ensure any delays or risks are reporting and necessary mitigation plans are put in place._
- _ Monitor both supplier and internal parts' shipments and material control. this will include completion_
- _ Stock management and reporting._
- _Support to Logistics Manager_
- _Support to Programme and Engineering teams._
- _Organise shipments in accordance with parts release schedule, document and project alterations / equipment release notes relating to any ad-hoc movements, ensuring drop dead dates are met._
- _Complete shipment monitoring reports, updating relevant parties as applicable._
- _Monitor report status and escalate when necessary._
- _Work with production and supply chain teams to ensure necessary production capacity is aligned to programme launch and ramp up - work with relevant planners to create rough-cut capacity plans and notify stakeholders of potential bottle necks._

**Preferred Skills and Experience**:

- _Extensive experience within a manufacturing environment _
- _Must have robust working knowledge of MRP based systems_
- _Logistics or supply chain technical qualification (APICs, IoSCM, MCIPS, BSc etc)_
- _Is highly numeric, analytical and with sound attention to detail _
- _Understands BoMs, Routings and Item Master Set up in an ERP system _
- _Solid organizational, time and project management skills_
- _Takes initiative, manages complexity and is decisive_
- _Effective communicator who facilitates bottom up and top-down communication channels_
- _Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability in a changing environment_
- _Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel_
- _ Fluent in English_
