**Hertfordshire Catering Limited (HCL) are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic General Catering Assistant to work in one of our lovely primary schools.**

**This role is term time only, working Monday to Friday, so it’s ideal for a great work-life balance You will be working with a great team at our school in Eastbury Farm **School.**

At HCL, staff are our greatest asset. We are proactive in providing training and support to develop your culinary skills, all part of working within a highly motivated team.

**Your role as a General Catering Assistant will involve**:

- Basic food preparation and cooking
- Cleaning duties within the kitchen/dining area
- Health & safety compliance
- Food service to students & staff
- Friendly and polite customer service
- Basic IT skills

**What we ask from you**:

- Previous catering experience is desirable but not essential
- Team player
- Food hygiene level 2 (preferred, but not essential as training will be given)
- Basic knowledge of health and safety practices
- Exceptional timekeeping and reliability
- Strong communication skills and fluency in spoken and written English
