**About the role**:
To validate and accept electricity data into the billing system and ensure that accurate data enters electricity settlements.
ENGIE are recruiting for an **Ele**ctricity Settlement Administrator** based** in Leeds**.** This is a 4 Month Fixed Term Contract role, working full time Monday to Friday. On offer is a competitive salary, bonus and benefits package.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Ensuring reads are obtained from customers premises in line with industry targets
- Monitoring and resolving issues preventing data collection from half hourly sites
- Validating data prior to its acceptance in the billing system
- Where necessary, entering actual data into the billing system
- Where necessary, calculating estimated data and entering this into the billing system
- Awareness of the importance of settlement performance in line with industry targets
**Key Requirements**:
- Proven record of excellent customer service
- Previous industry experience in settlement processes
- Understanding of the customer lifecycle and interdependencies between Billing and Market Operations and interfacing departments
- Microsoft Office proficient
- Knowledge of energy industry is preferred
- Organisational skills
- Able to produce effective work within deadlines
