**Job description**:

- You will ensure that the projects within the portfolio and programme remain within their approved time and cost envelope, ensuring that the programme remains aligned to strategy and affordability. The work you do will give you exposure to senior stakeholders, project teams and customers and you will be part of an ambitious team who are mostly based in Clyde. Reporting to the Governance and Reporting Manager.
- HMNB Clyde is the duty station for this role, however we can consider flexible working from an alternative location for our team members where the role allows. Team members based or visiting the site can benefit from onsite parking, civilian canteen, as well as coffee and food shop. Memberships to the gym and leisure facilities are available to those based at the site.**Person specification**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Provide direction to the team in order to deliver DIO outputs.
- Demonstrate a personal commitment to the DIO Guiding Principles
- Provide leadership for the team with mínimal supervision and direction.
- Responsible for developing and supporting the team, enabling them to deliver departmental goals.
- Responsible for the collation of information and presenting reports for senior management.
- Responsible for the creation of updating and publishing action logs and trackers.
- Provide secretariat support, arranging meetings, capturing and disseminating minutes/ Record Of Decisions (RODs).
- Champion P3M excellence in MPP in all engagement activities, COP, PD WG/SG
- Drive the identification and action processes of service improvement.

**Desirable skills and Experience**:

- Experience in infrastructure Portfolio, Programme and Project assurance
- Experience of working in the Ministry of Defence and/or other Government Departments or Public Sector organisations
- Experience of infrastructure delivery

**Qualifications**:

- Managing Successful Programmes Fundamentals
- PRINCE2 Practitioner
- APM Registered Project Professional
- APM Project Management Qualification
- PMI Project Management Professional
- Or equivalent**Behaviours**:
