Cook/ Food & Beverage Assistant
If you enjoy working in hospitality but don't like the antisocial hours, then this may be the job you've been looking for.
Here at Kingsdown, we provide a service for our members and visitors normally between 09:00 and 19:00, on a weekly basis with occasional fun social evenings throughout the year.
You will assist in running a private members' club on a daily basis. The rota duties will be split to include working in the kitchen as a cook and manning the bar as required.
**Responsibilities**:
- With the assistance of the Head Chef, Plan and create menus that are diverse and appealing to customers
- Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and quality standards
- Monitor food stock levels and place orders as needed
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean kitchen environment
- Assist on the bar as part of your weekly rota.
**Experience**:
- Proven experience working as a Cook in a pub, garden centre cafe, school kitchen etc
- Proficient in meal preparation, food presentation, and culinary techniques
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Front-of-house experience desirable but not essential, (full training will be provided)
- Ability to work efficiently in a kitchen & clubhouse environment
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
Pay: £12.50 per hour plus tips shared between a small team
Expected hours: 30 per week
