**About us**

Pathfinder Guide Dog Programme is a small charity based in Hamilton. We train German Shepherds to assist blind people across the UK gain more independence.

**Duties**:

- Provide administrative support to the office and assist with day-to-day operations
- Assist with event planning and coordination, including booking venues, arranging catering, and managing invitations
- File and organize documents, ensuring they are easily accessible and properly labeled
- Transcribe meeting minutes and other important notes accurately
- Provide excellent customer support by addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner
- Proofread documents for grammar, spelling, and formatting errors

**Skills**:

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks performed
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of Xero or similar accounting software is preferred but not required
- Able to work as part of a team but also important to be able to work on own initiative
