**Assistant to Managing Director - Sales - Midlands**

Operating across 20 offices and depots in the UK, Ireland, and mainland Europe, we take pride in our annual output of over 1.6 million units, showcasing a commitment to innovation and sustainability across various industries.
**About the Role**:
**Responsibilities**:
- Take charge of generating new business in the Midlands region, with a particular emphasis on sales activities.
- Execute lead generation efforts through targeted approaches, both remotely and on-site.
- Collaborate closely with the Managing Director to identify and pursue strategic sales opportunities.
- Engage actively with potential clients, fostering and maintaining robust business relationships.
- Prepare and present sales proposals to prospective clients.
- Work collaboratively with the senior Sales/Management team to implement and refine the company's sales strategy.
**Experience, Knowledge, and Skills**:
- A full driving license is essential for regional travel.
- Demonstrated experience in lead generation, business development, and sales-focused roles.
- Customer-centric mindset with a proven ability to build and nurture strong business relationships.
- Proficient in MS Office packages, including Excel and Word.
- Strong communication skills for effective engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
- Previous experience in a sales-oriented role is highly advantageous.
- Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills.
