We are looking for individuals with a passion for supporting young people to be successful in their learning.

The Short Stay School for Norfolk is a single countywide institution which meets the needs of a diverse cohort of vulnerable young people from 9 physical locations. Most of our young people have been permanently excluded from school and are preparing for an onward transition to a new school or specialist provision.

The Locksley School educates young people between the ages of 5-16 who have a wide range of complex social, emotional and mental health needs.

The role involves supporting administrative and clerical functions to a high standard within the school, ensuring consistency with the other bases in the SSSfN. Tasks will involve the completion of paperwork and referrals, recording placements and tracking and inputting attendance into MIS system. Admin support in other bases across The Unity Education Trust may be required.

The key skills required for the post are:

- Flexibility and ability to work under own initiative
- Proficient in a wide range of office skills including use of Microsoft Office.
- Able to prioritise work and meet deadlines
- Good organisational skills.
- A welcoming and calm personality.
- Trustworthy, reliable, tactful and flexible
- Keen to learn and develop professionally
- Confidentiality is an important part of the role with particular regard to maintaining data involved with data protection
