YOUR ROLE

Our Multi-User operation based in Kettering has an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and analytically focused Stock Supervisor to join a new FMCG customer, where you will be responsible for leading and coordinating a team of stock clerks, warehousing colleagues, and a reporting analyst, ensuring operational delivery and customer service excellence whilst instilling a high performance, engaging and continuous improvement culture.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Reporting into the Contract Manager, you will be responsible for 3 direct reports, plus agency resource where you will ensure all aspects of warehousing administration and stock control is maintained. You will prepare daily and weekly stock control performance reports and process all customer order returns within the agreed timescales. You will ensure that work is allocated effectively and efficiently to meet stock control targets and KPI’s and actively maintain high standards across the site. You will carry out cycle counts, own quality improvements to reduce nil picking and prevent damages and missed dispatch, you will investigate stock shortages when reported, implementing countermeasures to prevent recurrence and drive continuous improvement initiatives with your team.

As the Stock Supervisor, you will conduct team one-to-ones identifying colleague development areas, implementing succession plans, and ensuring colleagues are adequately trained within the operation to cover any holiday, sickness, absence, or overtime required. You will build excellent working relationships with the customer and internal stakeholders and ensure all customer requirements are fulfilled to the highest possible standard.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

It goes without saying that you will have strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of working within a diverse operational team, engaging with a variety of stakeholders and customers.

It would be desirable however not essential if you are experienced in MS packages such as Excel and PowerPoint.

The core shifts across the operation are 7am-3pm or 3pm to 11am.
