**The role**

Reporting to the Director of Customer Transactions, you are responsible for building and delivering the transformation and integration of our Service Charge function. You will create a service that ensures a customer-centred operational delivery and optimisation of service charge recovery.

You will work collaboratively with colleagues and teams across Southern Housing to contribute to the development and delivery of our strategic plans.

**The location**

You’ll be based at one of our main offices in either Croydon or Sittingbourne, with the option for working in a hybrid way when appropriate and as agreed with your manager.

**What you’ll do**
- This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is keen to be part of our Service Charge function's transformation and integration, as we optimise service charge recovery and provide services focused on the needs of the customer.
- As a Service Charge Adviser, you will deliver a high quality, customer-centric service for service charge payers and other stakeholders.
- Reporting to a Service Charge Team Manager, you will provide a responsive service for customers and support for Service Charge Analysts

**What you need**
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong organisational skills, able to control and deliver a range of tasks to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
- Excellent financial and numerical skills
- Strong belief in customer satisfaction
