If so, then look no further than our Reception SEN Teaching Assistant position
**To thrive as a Reception SEN Teaching Assistant, it’s essential that you have**:
- A genuine passion for supporting children with SEN
- Experience working with children with Speech & Language or Challenging Behaviour
- Have a natural enthusiasm for working with young children
- The ability to monitor and record a child’s progress
- An understanding of safeguarding children
- A positive, caring, energetic, can-do attitude
**Duties include (but aren’t limited to)**:
- 1:1 support with a child or small groups
- Supporting the class as a whole
- Assisting the class teacher
- Fostering relationships with parents
- Caring and looking after children during break times and lunch times
- Supervising children during activities
- Managing challenging behaviour
- Motivating children and being an excellent role model
