Our client is a leading and highly dynamic business within the design and manufacture industry naming may high profile and house hold instantly recognisable names as clients
As part of their organic growth, FRS have been enlisted to assist with the recruitment of a Qualified Accountant to join their progressive business based in the West Midlands.
This client very successful start-up Company which has brought together a collaboration of talented engineers, designers and production specialists to work on exciting and innovative projects.
My client looks to challenge the norms, create without restraint, and deliver projects than mean more.
The position as Finance Manager is a key role in the growth of the business, they are seeking a commercially savvy Finance Manager to work alongside our Commercial Director.
Principal Responsibilities
- Coordination of all finance activities, including month end tasks, such as bank reconciliation, accruals and prepayments
- Building of financial projections, enabling the business to plan where money can be spent and saved
- Coordination of budget setting process and tracking against financial targets
- Implementation and continual updating of the business’ finance processes and procedures, ensuring effective and compliant financial management
- Ensuring all payments are made on time
- Provision of year end and monthly reports for senior management, along with other ad-hoc reports when required.
- Qualified Accountant
- Advanced knowledge of Excel
- Commercially minded, focused on achieving the best financial results for the business
- Experience working directly with senior management
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail with a right first-time approach
- Ability to address issues as they arise, and both make and drive decisions
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal communication skills
