We're recruiting for a Project Coordinator for a client of ours based in Newcastle city centre.

The role is a temporary fixed term contract for a minimum of 3 months, with the potential of extension. 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday office hours, based on campus.

£15.51 per hour + holiday pay earned as you work,

The purpose of this role is to provide professional co-ordinator support to the Senior Management Team of Campus Services. The post holder will play an important role in ensuring the smooth running of Campus Services team. Due to the nature of the role, the post holder will require high standards of diplomacy and professionalism.

Main duties include:

- Develop and maintain good working relationships with all staff, visitors and external contacts.
- Note and carry out actions and prepare supplementary correspondence arising from meetings
- Drafting reports, briefings and correspondence as directed, which may involve collating information or feedback from Faculties/Services within the University and from external sources.
- Providing an efficient system for the storage and retrieval of documents, correspondence, reports, information and contacts.
- Preparing papers for committee meetings and other working groups as directed.
- Taking accurate minutes/notes of formal and informal meetings and ensuring follow up on actions between meetings.
- Managing events including arrangements for room bookings, hospitality, equipment, preparing and organising itineraries for internal and external colleagues etc. for meetings convened on behalf of the Senior Management Team.
- Organising and co-ordinating diary, travel and accommodation requirements.

To be considered for this role you must have the following:

- Previous experience working with a Senior Management Team
- Good organisation skills
- Experience taking minutes/ notes and event management
- Strong and clear communicator
- Previous experience within Project or Property Management would be advantageous
