**Senior Conferencing & Events Executive**

We have a fantastic opportunity for a full time **Senior Conferencing &** **Events Executive **to join our award winning team at Lucknam Park.

**Main responsibilities**:

- Taking bookings and ensuring that all guests receive an excellent level of service.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with corporate clients/suppliers etc.
- Giving prospective weddings and events client tours of the hotel, explaining all possible options for the event.
- Acting as host/hostess for major events.
- Effectively communicate and work alongside the operational teams to ensure smooth running all of events.

**Experience and skills required to fulfil the role**:

- Previous experience organising events will be advantageous
- Positive, friendly and professional attitude
- Strong organisational skills
- Excellent guest service skills
- Fluent in English - verbal and written
- Proficient in computer software such as Excel and Word as well as specific reservation, event software to produce functions sheets and event invoices.
- Experience dealing with difficult situations and complaints

We are offering a competitive salary for a full time role, working 40 hours over 5 days per week, which could include weekends, evenings and Bank/Public Holidays as needed to fulfil business needs. Service charge will be paid after completing one full months’ service.

Please be aware Lucknam Park is located in beautiful countryside which is difficult to reach via public transport, therefore your own transport would be advisable to enable you to fulfil the shifts required for this role.
