Multinational Case Handler - (Perm or Fixed Term Contract)

We are hiring for our Chelmsford office, with several openings for Multinational Case Handlers to join our team (Perm or Fixed Term Contract roles). In this role you effectively co-ordinate multinational programmes through the full lifecycle (policy administration, claims, risk engineering, and cashflow management) working with producing underwriting teams and Global Network offices. - Your responsibilities for this role may include, but are not limited to:
- Be aware of Multinational business plan in order to effectively handle programmes
- Continuous work with Producing Office Underwriters to support the implementation and management of compliant Multinational programmes throughout the Multinational lifecycle process
- Working closely with other areas of the business including the Multinational Central Management Team, Credit Control, Claims, Underwriters and Compliance/Underwriting Governance will be essential
- Communicate and share information with global underwriters / assistants, Local offices, brokers and other interested parties
- Prepare, collate and communicate new and renewal case information, handle mid-term changes to ensure delivery of key programme stages and to co-ordinate/ manage local underwriting input and policy servicing
- Produce Proposal Assessments to advise to Underwriters on local servicing costs, taxes, tariffs, retentions etc. to enable adequate pricing
- Handle local payments and central collections and to ensure the overall cash position is properly managed
- Check local policy schedules and reinsurance cession slips and refer to Client Manager or Producing Underwriter if required
- Analyse and monitor performance of Multinational programmes using tracking reports, escalating to Senior Case Handlers or Client Managers as appropriate
- Work with Client Managers to ensure they are kept up to date and ensure issues and queries are escalated/resolved in a timely manner
- You will need to display you have the following knowledge and experience:
- For this role we can consider either previous working experience or a transferable skillset straight from education
- Good team player with the ability to work collaboratively and develop strong working relationships
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to produce detailed reports at various levels
- Analytical insight with the ability to extrapolate from limited or complex data
