Estimating Administrator

This role offers an opportunity to join a fast paced, dynamic business. The successful applicant will play a key role in supporting the Estimating Team.

The role will include:

- Attending weekly Departmental meetings and taking minutes when needed. Updating the tender list after the meeting to highlight priorities and to respond to the client prior to processing the enquiry.
- Processing new enquiries:

- Logging new enquiries onto the Tender Register.
- Downloading and saving tender information into the estimating files.
- Collating the relevant tender information for the Estimators.
- Requesting further information from the client if needed.
- Assisting estimating team in monitoring deadlines.
- Responding to telephone calls in relation to tenders or Estimations dealing directly with the query or passing on to the relevant person responsible.
- Following up on any submitted enquiries:

- Monitoring submission dates.
- Making courtesy phone calls to clients to obtain feedback.
- Logging updates on the Tender Register.
- General administrative support to the Estimating team where necessary.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Excellent administration skills.
- Have a confident telephone manner.
- Demonstrate excellent organisational skills and have a strong attention to detail.
- Be able to manage own workload and meet tight deadlines.
- Have good knowledge of Microsoft packages.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently when required.

25 hours per week - 10.00am - 3.30pm

£20,000 - £23,000 pro rota

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £20,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
