We’re looking for a talented and organised Admin Assistant to join our Communications and Engagement team.

The Communications and Engagement team is responsible for a variety of internal and external communications, engagement programmes and events.

You will be involved in a wide variety of activities across all areas of our work and across south east London’s six diverse and vibrant boroughs

The South East London Integrated Care System (ICS) brings together the health and care partners that serve our vibrant and highly diverse populations resident in the London boroughs of Bexley, Bromley, Greenwich, Lambeth, Lewisham and Greenwich - our Places.

Our partnership brings together six local authorities, over 200 general practices (operating within 35 Primary Care Networks), Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital NHS FT, King’s College Hospital NHS FT, Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust, South London and the Maudsley Mental Health FT and Oxleas FT. Importantly, the ICS seeks to be connected to the communities we serve (circa 1.92m residents) and work with the widest possible range of community, voluntary and third sector groups and organisations in each borough. The reach of our NHS provider portfolios extends beyond the borders of the ICS, across London, the south of England and nationally for some services.

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Help with the delivery of agreed communication and engagement activity to support place (borough) based ICB priorities and the local care partnerships

(LCPs).
- Support the delivery of ICB’s communications and engagement strategy and the ICS working with people and communities’ strategic framework to ensure it is fully embedded and working as part of an overall south east London communications and engagement team.
- Provide administrative support to the assistant director of place based

communications and place based heads of communications and engagement.
- Help with the organisation of place based engagement events to deliver ICB and LCP priorities, including sourcing venues, bookings, payments,

refreshments, issuing invitations and help with recording actions/notes.
- Provide support in the maintenance and updating of stakeholder directories, including communities, networks, and engagement opportunities.
- Draft internal and external communications to support more senior members of the team, including using AI to create first drafts of content.
- Support with ordering printing and promotional materials as required,

production of other materials, and putting in place arrangements for
appropriate distribution of materials working with other place based teams.
- Attend events as required to help with photography, filming, and interviewing.
- Use online design packages such as Canva to support development of

campaign materials for campaigns at place level.
- Take notes at meetings and work with the relevant chairperson to ensure timely distribution of meeting paperwork to all participants.
- Utilise Workforce, eProcurement and other ICB systems to support the work of the team and the assistant director of place based communications.
